Interview of a Serbian Student

Sanda Salom is a second-year undergraduate student at ISEM. She's 19 years old and she's coming from Serbia. Today we are going to find out more about her experience.

Why have you chosen  ISEM for your studies?

I chose ISEM, because I studied in a French high school, so I wanted to continue my studies in a French educational system. I loved the fact that ISEM offers a choice, so I can choose later what I want to do. The first year at ISEM is more general, so you can see later what do you want and you have enough time to decide.

As you’ve said there are a lot of departments, so which one are you going to choose?

There are 3 departments at ISEM: Marketing and Sales, Management, Accounting and Finance, so I’m going to choose the third one - Accounting and Finance, because later on, I want to get my Master in Finance. I would like to become a Financial Director or to work for a Bank, it’s my choice and I love it.

Tell us something about your adaptation experience.

I can say that I had a chance to have a friend from my country, so it wasn’t so difficult for me in the beginning. Here I met a lot of new people, I was hanging out :) And in our university they offer sport activities, so I’m playing salsa and that’s a fact that I love about this university.

How will your ISEM studies help in your future career?

I think it will help me a lot, because ISEM it’s a very good university and as I said it offers a lot of choices and options. And professors are good, I think it will help me to find easily a job.
